I guess it is time for an update...

39 weeks, well, almost 40... Almost TEN MONTHS!!! Ready READY READY to meet this sweet girl. I keep telling everyone that I served her her 48 hour eviction notice today... Hopefully she gets the memo...

On Tuesday at my appt. I was 2 cm dilated and still only 30% effaced... But she is MOVING! Yay! The doctor swept my membranes, but unfortunately, didn't send me into labor... but got things moving more (from what I can tell) So if our sweet girl is stubborn, our next appt. is Wednesday, and we will schedule an induction date then...

It was a long week of not a whole lot of action... Last weekend was a different story. I woke up Saturday feeling GROSS and my lower back was KILLING me...I almost felt like I was coming down with the flu (I got the vaccine weeks before)  Jesse and I decided it was probably just that "pre-labor" feeling... So we went about our day... and about one, I started noticing "contractions" they weren't very regular...but present...We got REAL excited. Continued to just try and go about the day, but my back just HURT. BAD. I haven't had much lower back pain since I've been pregnant, mostly mid back pain. As the evening rolled around, I was still having some contraction, but nothing consistent enough to get too excited. We had scheduled to have dinner with some friends, and after much contemplating... we decided to go ahead and go. (soo glad we did they are great...but I did NOT feel so good) We made it through dinner, and after a while I decided it was "time to go" I needed to go lay down... Well as we left, we only got around the corner, and I made Jesse pull over. Lets just say I lost ALL my marbles... and then contractions, every five mins apart for a min. Now we were really thinking we were in business. Long story short... After a VERY sleepless night, 12 hours of consistent, but "painless" contractions... They just went away. SAD FOR US!
Guess she listened to her Mommy though, I didn't want a Halloween baby... So we continue to wait... Continue to have NO contractions this week... This girl is going to keep us on our toes!!!

Praying she comes soon!!!
