Someone is (mostly) potty trained...

Little Miss is doing SO well with the potty, most days.

If there is one thing I know for sure about Laila, it is that is a "cold turkey" kinda gal... She quit nursing cold turkey, bottles, binkies, her crib, etc... So, when it came to potty training she was the exact same.  COLD turkey.  Bye Bye diapers, hello "pretty panties."  It clicked for her quickly... and she does REALLY well, for the most part.  She has days, moments, and nights are here and there... but for 2 years and 4 months, I am pretty proud...

Well, she is THE most WONDERFUL professional photographer, so she made my dreams come true and did family pictures for us while she was home visiting.  She even managed to get some cute ones, even though Laila was having NONE of it...

Cassie and Wesley visit!!!!

You know when we always say the song "Jesus loves me" growing up?  Well, it is true, and he does.  Proof... My best friend.  She is seriously amazing.  Loving, kind, wise, and fierce.  Cassie and her handsome little man came to visit last month for a week.  I have missed her SO much, it hurts.  Plus, I had been dying to meet Wesley, my handsome new nephew.  God's timing couldn't have been more perfect, and my heart couldn't have been fuller after her trip.

Seriously, Jesus knew what He was doing when he gave me Cass.  SO thankful for her, and her beautiful friendship to me.

It's been a while...

It has been a while since I have blogged.  To be honest, I have missed it... a lot lately!  So, I am making a simple goal to blog at least a couple times a month, and go from there.

So, here is an update... God is up to some good things, and we are anxiously awaiting to see them unfold.  We have seen "glimpses" but we can't wait to see it all start coming together!

So, for now, lets start with an update on LB...  She is growing like CRAZY lately.  She is hilarious, somedays she is challenging (HELLO, she is 2!) but mostly, she is just my little buddy.  I love the little stink so much, somedays, it is unbearable.

We're HOME!

We've been enjoying the beauty, family, and FUN since being home. It's so true... There is NO place like HOME! Laila has learned a lot of new tricks, words, and made new friends. She is having SO much fun and loving life!
