33 Weeks

33 Weeks down, 7ish to go. YIPEE!!!!

She officially has now moved into the status of a honeydew

Amazing how fast time flies!!

I delayed this post a day (trust me I was on top of it this week) till I realized my doctors appointment was on Monday, so I just decided to bunch it all together.

At my doctors appointment, I asked my doctor how much I should be feeling my little muffin. She told me about 4 times an hour. Problem. I can go almost a day without really feeling her much... especially when we are in "unfamiliar" places. So they decided to run a non-stress test, and do an ultrasound just to make sure everything is ok. Of course, she decided to show off then :) She passed all the tests with flying colors, and we got some new, precious pictures of our sweet little girl! (Yes, I did make them look again to DOUBLE check it was a girl haha) She is all girl, and has not slowed down since then! She has been moving SO much! So fun to see her little self. She is going to be one beautiful little girl with lots of hair...Yes, HAIR! They could already see it in the ultrasound!! CRAZY! She is an active, healthy girl. We can't be anymore thankful!!! Oh and SO funny, she stuck her tongue out at us! TOO funny! (Thanks Auntie Greta for going with me... Jesse was very sad he couldn't attend but he was working and couldn't get off) She is breech as of right now. I am praying she starts to make her flip soon! If not they are going to start trying to flip her in just a few weeks. She is already VERY actively using her diaphragm... So I am guessing one healthy set of lungs! :)

So, yes I looked crazy going in and she was GOING TO TOWN... The ultrasound tech asked me "what haven't you been feeling?!" Yes, I know. It sounded crazy to them. The reasons why though... My placenta sits on the top front of my stomach... Acting as a sort of "punching bag" for her... helps absorb some of it. Although I am feeling plenty now. :) Also, my nurse said she could just have crazy sleep cycles... Meaning she can SLEEP! Which means she takes after her Mamma ;) Needless to say, I am comforted, and thankful!

I will post the ultrasound pictures tomorrow! :) I need to scan them first. Now, it is bed time!! Growing girl, makes for one tired mamma!

Glad to hear everything is going well and that Lela has some hair! I can't wait to meet her. Do you guys know yet when your last day in Bend will be?

I'm glad to hear all is well.

I had that scenario twice with my pregnancies -- where the placenta is in the front. However, by the end, it doesn't matter much. You'll feel that sweet little girl.

Blessings to you.
