Our precious little girl decided to make herself VERY known last night. It was precious, awe striking, and incredible.
Jesse and I were settling into bed, after what had been a LONG, tiring, and emotional day for me...and I started to feel something. Now lets be honest here, pregnancy brings GAS, lots of gas. So all this time when people had been asking me if I had felt her, I kept saying "no." When, in fact, I now know I for sure had been. But last night was special. and much more abrupt! Anyways, I now know, not all of it was gas :)
Back to last night. So, we had just settled into bed. Things had been quiet, I knew Jesse was well on his was to asleep when I felt this bubble. Then a small "jab" followed by another, then another. So I put my had on my stomach where I had been feeling them and sure enough... I felt it. Immediately I said "Jesse put your hand on my stomach!" Now we know from our ultra sound, we have no calm baby... she is a MOVER! After a few, "did you feel that" and "No's" finally, "I think I felt her, it was very soft and subtle..." Well...maybe to him :)
It was a precious moment. Reminded me to keep my joy. It is all worth it in the end. Truly.

yay! so sweet! that first recognition of a kick is sooo special! fathers day in australia is in september and a few days before that i had felt bubs kicking for the first time. (couldn't feel it on the outside yet though.) the saturday night before fathers day i laid in bed and prayed that ryan would be able to feel a kick for fathers day the next day. (what a great gift that would be!) that morning as we woke up, sure enough, levi was on the move. i put ryan's hand in the right place and he felt him! such a precious moment!! x
I love it!! So exciting. She is going to have to be an active one to keep up with her boyfriend :)
