Life in TX

I know it has been, well, forever! 

Now that we are here in TX and finally have internet at our house (praise God) I feel a little more "at piece" and can actually update... 

Texas, is flat. :) Our apartment is, well, lets just say we are VERY glad we only signed a six month lease, and will be quickly moving out of here once its over. No, its not awful... we are in a safe place. It is just old, and slowly falling apart. (I think the maintenance guys may live here as well...they've been here a lot lately.)

Our sweet little is growing before our eyes. I can barely believe it! She is not so "little" any more. She is a "chatting" queen, smiling TONS, and getting so strong! She loves to "sit up" with help of course... laying is for fools yo :) And she has discovered and LOVES LOVES LOVES her hands... She has now added a bib to her daily attire because of the constant drool streaming from her mouth from sucking away on her hand :)

 Daddy recently celebrate the big 3-0 and Laila the big TWO months (the same day Daddy had his first day of school) 

Things are starting to pick up now. Jesse is getting ready to dive HEAD deep into all things school, and Laila and I are trying to come up with crafty fun ideas (besides netflix and hulu) to pass our days. Not as many parks, and fun places just to go "hang" out here. The library is LAME, the parks are, well, the same color as the buildings (BROWN) and there isn't much to them. The mall, well, the best thing going for that if Forever 21... lets just say we need to be VERY creative, and VERY budget friendly... Ideas anyone?!

Oh, and we almost forgot to mention, our favorite Auntie Cassie is getting married in July which means YAY we are coming home in July for that! and Mommy is now officially kicking this baby weight off in speed mode! I have already lost 3 pounds! Thanks to casual exercise and my new meal planning system! Next is full blown work outs!
