Week 22
She is the size of a papaya
She can hear outside noise from down in the womb. Nipples are starting to sprout, and that little face is fully formed. And, baby's starting to settle into sleep cycles, snoozing about 12 to 14 hours a day. WOW, the weeks are just coming and going! I can't believe today is 125ish days till she makes are arrival! CRAZY!
What a GREAT weekend we had. Saturday was spent out at black butte enjoying the company of some great family friends, and an attempt to take a dip in the pool... (didn't last long, it was only 70 makes it hard for this mommy and daddy to want to stay in BRRRR!)
Then 4th of July! Woke up early to go see my sweet nephews in the pet parade, got to spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying a great nap with my husband, then off to the Cheney's we went to eat and celebrate Chelsea's birthday. SO fun to have her, Cory, and precious Isak here to love on! After one delicious meal (and trust me this mamma can eat now!) We went over to Ryan and Greta's to watch the fire works... and yes for you out of towners, the butte did light of fire :)
Then, a much needed blessing a WHOLE day off to spend just me and Jesse! Its been TOO long. Jesse came home from his morning work out and had a fun date day planned for just me and him! We enjoyed lunch, and a day of running around shopping, spoiling ourselves, and our precious girl who is a cookin' :) Mamma got some new maternity clothes, Daddy got some shorts for work and a new shirt, while our little girl got new shirts, and a pair of Justin cowboy baby boots!!! SO CUTE! (we got them second hand...GREAT deal!) We also managed to pick up something for her cousin who is due 2 weeks and 2 days after her. We got a little ambitious and are assuming its a boy. We find out tomorrow, we can always take it back, but we couldn't pass up what we got, cause it was the LAST one! SO EXCITING!
A great weekend! Good fun, and some much needed, Daddy-Mommy time!
:) Excited about my baby shower tomorrow too! This girl is one SUPER blessed princess!
Much Love,
J, T, and little Muffin :)
