Week 10

We have made it...to 10 weeks! What a ten weeks it has been. I have never been filled with SO much joy to know someday I just get to hold this little one! It is my pride and joy already!
So far, so good. I have had a few "bad" days. Just days where I didn't feel good, but actually only got sick (and threw up) once. So, other than that, just mainly dealing with nausea but that too has subsided for the most part! YAY!

Since we have hit the 10 week mark. Baby is officially the size of a prune :)Kind of a gross comparison...but you get the picture :) All its joints are beginning to work, and vital organs are functioning! On Monday Jesse and I got to hear the baby's heart beat at the doctors office. It was such a cool, and mind blowing experience.


Right now Jesse and I are both thinking that baby is a girl...guess its only a 50/50 chance we are wrong. Right? :) I used to play this game all the time when I was in high school taking tests...How bad can it be :) I just think that no matter what, it is so special to me that "our little surprise" or "our little muffin" as I have so gladly nicknamed it already is due SO close to my Mom's birthday.

We have officially decided on our baby girl's name, and are about 75% sure of the boys name, although I feel they are ever changing, so when we have secured a name...I am sure we will be sharing since we can barely contain our excitement!
So, so far so good. Nothing to complain about... just a little lack of sleep, but hey, it won't kill me :) That and some terrible heart burn, but thankfully my doc said I can start taking medication when I hit 12 weeks! Praise the Lord! We will know about the second week in June the sex of the baby and we will be sure to share all of the information will EVERYONE as we go. Jesse is elated to be a daddy. It is the cutest thing I have ever seen! So thankful for such a lovely, patient, go get my cravings hubby :) He blesses me to the moon!
